Hokkaido in ink「北海道 in ink.」
A small book containing more than thirty ink illustrations of Hokkaido scenery.
北海道の景色をインクで描く。
Based on a 2019 trip during which we visited Sapporo, Otaru, and Hakodate I made a small black-and-white book of ink illustrations. Tying it to the 2019 Inktober event, I painted with brush pens and ink, more than thirty Hokkaido vistas based on the many photos we brought back from the trip. All the pictures are accompanied by English and Japanese texts and topped with additional content (explanation about tools, things for travel, map, places information, etc.).
