A quite sizable exhibition of my watercolors is starting at Azabudai Hills, Tokyo. A large-scale book fair and original art exhibition (with purchase available) commemorating the first anniversary of the publication of the “Imaginary Storefronts” book will be held for a whole month! “This collection of works by Mateusz Urbanowicz, whose series of books has sold over 100,000 copies in Japan alone and continues to gain fans around the world, will be held at Ogaki Bookstore’s Azabudai Hills branch from Tuesday, February 17, 2026, as a special event to allow readers to experience the world of his latest work, “Imaginary Storefronts.” The exhibition will feature precious original artworks, showcasing the freshness and attention to detail of watercolors that cannot be fully expressed in print. In addition, 30 limited-edition prints and original merchandise will be available for purchase, and Urbanowicz himself will appear at a signing session.”
